1 Kings, Chapter 16, verses 9-20

⁹ His servant Zimri, commander of half his chariots, conspired against him. Now he was at Tirzah drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, who was over the household at Tirzah. ¹⁰ Then Zimri went in and struck him and put him to death in the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and became king in his place. ¹¹ It came about when he became king, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he^b Lit smotekilled all the household of Baasha; he did not leave^c Lit him who urinates against the walla single male, neither of his^d Lit redeemersrelatives nor of his friends.	9 Ki2 9:30-33 Gen 24:2 Gen 39:4 Ki1 18:3 11 Ki1 15:29 Ki1 16:3

¹⁵ In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, Zimri reigned seven days at Tirzah.
